For further details and registration, please follow the link below.
The Oxford Psychological Networks School (OxPNS) is a five-day course focused on statistical network analytic methods suitable for the psychological, social, and medical sciences. The course integrates conceptual foundations with applied modelling techniques, enabling participants to implement network models in their own research.
- A strong foundation in the network perspective and its links to network science and complex systems
- Practical guidance on formulating research questions for different network analytic applications
- Hands-on experience preparing and analysing both newly collected and secondary datasets
- Training in cross-sectional network models for different purposes and types of data (e.g., binary, ordinal, and continuous data)
- Estimating advanced dynamic network models for (intensive) longitudinal data, including panel, ESM/EMA, and N = 1 designs
- Skills in analysing, interpreting, and reporting network analytic research
- Undergraduate and master’s students
- Doctoral students and post-doctoral researchers
- Academic faculty interested in learning about and applying network analysis
- Open to participants from the UK and internationally
The course is suitable for students and researchers in psychology, psychiatry, medicine, and the social sciences interested in statistical network analysis.
